It has been forever long since I made a post here on this blog and I have recently decided to start it up again. A lot has happened in my life since now and then and I have much more experiences to speak from. To start this blog back off I want to keep it short and simple and leave you with a poem from a book I recently read by Inky Johnson. If you have not read his book (entitled INKY) I strongly recommend it. It is a great, quick read and is extremely inspirational. Here is the poem:"GO-GETTERS"
You wonder why some people make it to be the best at what they do;
they approach things differently from a mental aspect
They're GO-GETTERS, they're HUNGRY...
I mean you literally have to take their life before you can take their drive.
The GO-GETTERS know you're not working if you are only doing whats required of you;
The GO-GETTERS know the work has just begun when you start doing your overtime;
The GO-GETTERS work to separate from everyone and not to maintain with the crowd
The GO-GETTERS perfect their craft and get better at what they do every day;
The GO-GETTERS don't know what the word "tired"means, because they only know one way and that's to GET IT!
The GO-GETTERS are allergic to the words CAN'T and TRY
because they are one and the same, and all they know is CAN!
The GO-GETTERS work to leave behind a LEGACY not a memory,
The GO-GETTERS are known as LEGENDS not SUPERSTARS.
The GO-GETTERS know that anybody can be GOOD, so they pursue GREATNESS.
The GO-GETTERS realize they're who they are not because of themselves,
But because they are the seed of a union between their family and God,
And most importantly the GO-GETTERS know to give GOD the GLORY!
